A little perspective...

I just listened to an amazing radio broadcast of President Massimo de Feo, who is the President of the Rome Stake in Italy. I encourage you to listen to it, even though it's a little long. It offers great information and insight into the cultural context of the LDS church in Italy, specifically in reference to the temple that is scheduled to be built in Rome.

You can download the interview here. (The interview is in English, but hang out until the end and you'll hear a very sweet testimony in Italian)

Many of you may have seen my blog last year when the Rome Italy Temple was announced. This is a great follow up to that, and was a great reminder to me of just how much the Italian people go through and how much faith they have to exercise each day in order to help the Church grow.

The interview was especially touching because Presidente de Feo mentions specifically how faithful and strong the young single adults have to be. This is obviously a subject near and dear to my heart. It is true that here in the States we have it so good, and we really take it for granted.
