Hello, everyone!
That is, if anyone out there is still even looking at my blog, which I never update!
I have decided to stray from my original blog theme of strictly food-related topics. A lot of the reason I never update my blog is because 1. I hardly ever have time to cook anymore, and 2. Most of the things I eat and make most often are already posted.
So, I will be using my blog the way most people do-- to write about the quirky happenings of daily life. I'm not sure that I'll have much to say or that any of it will be interesting to anyone but me, but that's ok. I'll still post food stuff when I come accross it.
Right now the most pressing thing going on is my research paper for my Master's degree. It's technically an Action Research Project, not a "thesis" but no one really cares about the difference. I'm writing it about retention of non-traditional college students, which is also an uninteresting subject for the majority of mankind. So I won't bore you with the details.
The important thing to know is that I have spent the last 5 weeks burried in the paper, and Thursday it is due, so in 4 days I get my life back and I could not possibly be more excited! All I have to do after that is finish my program, which means going to class until December, then I have 4 online classes to complete my concentration. Oh, for those of you who don't know, my Masters is Education/Curriculum and Instruction, concentration in English as a Second Language. I think the whole program is like 43 credits, and I'll be graduating next July (my coursework should be done sometime in the spring).
So that's the super exciting update on my super exciting life! On a food note, this is what has gotten me through all those nights of paper writing. Enjoy!
